My name is Valica Sampson and I have just completed my 6th year of teaching at Newbern Middle School. In 1992, I completed a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Valdosta State College. Several years later I decided to change careers and obtained a Masters in Education from Cambridge College and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. I am currently completing the MAT - General Curriculum at Valdosta State University. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, cooking, and eating. My favorite places to visit are Paris, France, and Montego Bay, Jamaica.  I have two remarkable children. oTalisa is 16 years old and she loves animals. She is an AKC Junior Handler. Tony is a junior at Valdosta State who is majoring in Chemisrty.
I teach Language Arts in an 8th grade inclusion class. I have had the wonderful experience of teaching all classes with the same teacher for the past two years which, I feel, has contributed to the gains and success our students have achieved.

Information will be added for the new school year. Information will be added for the new school year.
