Anansi the Spider is a traditional Ashanti tale. One day, Anansi takes a journey far from home. He finds himself  in a great deal of trouble.  His six sons worked together to help their father escape doom!  Anansi and his sons returned home happy and safe.  Anansi was so grateful to his sons that he decided to give a gift to the son to saved him. However, he only had one gift to give. How could he choose which one of his sons should receive this gift?  Anansi asked for help from Nyame, the "God of all Things".  With his help, Anasi found a way for all his sons to share his gift together.
