Hey! My name is Valarie Clarke.  I was born and raised in a small town berriencalled Nashville, GA, which is the center of Berrien County.  I previously attended  Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where I received my Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Presently, I am attending Valdosta State University.  I am working towards my Bachelor's Degree from the Early Childhood and Reading Education Department

DurFFAing high school, I was very active in my Local FFA.  My senior year of school, I served as the president of the FFA.  I would recommend the FFA to any person that is looking for something to keep them active.  There is  a lot of rewards that comes along with involvement with the FFA.  If you have more questions you are welcome to email me or visit the National Future Farmers of America web site.

A lcowot of my involvement in the FFA was in showing livestock.  I have showed both heifers and hogs.  This activity can be very rewarding but it involves a lot of hard work.  You have to care for your animals everyday.  I have made several trips to Perry, Georgia, to show my livestock.  You can visit the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter to learn more about the fairground and its activities.

Here are some pictures of me showing my heifer, Abbie.
