name is Valerie
Cason, and I am a junior at Valdosta
University. I am currently majoring in and seeking a
degree in Early
Reading Education. I transferred from Waycross College, in
Georgia in December of 2003. I plan to complete my studies from
December of 2005. I will graduate with my associates from
Waycross College in May of 2004. My goal is to one day teach
kindergarten or first grade
within the public school system of the state of Georgia.
A little about me! A little about my family!
I was born in Waycross, Georgia on August 6, 1983 at 11:47 p.m. to Tony and Vickie Cason. I have one brother, Aubrey who is 15 years old. I was an active member on the Pierce County High School Sound of Silver Marching Band Color guard. I was also captain my senior year.
brother is now on the
Pierce County High School football team, the Pierce
County Bears. My dad teaches at Pierce County High School and
the present time attending Valdosta State University to receive his
certificate. My mother is an accountant at Primesouth Bank in
the Georgia Bulldogs
and I believe it is because both of my parents attended, met, started
and graduated from UGA. It is in the blood. I also spent an
entire week there for summer captains camp the summer before my senior
year of high school.
I just bought my own car in August 2003 for my birthday and moved here in December of 2003 to start on my bachelor's degree. Here is a picture of what my car looks like. It is a 2002 Honda Civic Ex.
I love to listen to all kinds of music to get a variety of different interest. My favorite artists right now are Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney. I just recently met Rascal Flatts at Wild Adventures in Valdosta. It was certainly a dream come true. (Thank you mom and dad).
