Dog'on Good Education
Designed by: Tiffany Tomberlin
My name is Tiffany
Tomberlin. I am 20 years old and currently a junior at Valdosta
I am also currently working towards my degree in
Childhood Education which is in the Early Childhood and Special
Education Department. I began
attending Valdosta State University in August 2006. My original
declared major was nursing, but it was short lived.
I have always loved being around children and after working with The
and Girls Club, I decided to change my major. This
leads me to where I am today.
As you can see, I have a dog named Millie. She was a
present to myself last Valentine's Day while my fiànce was
deployed. She is my favorite companion and she is always by my
side. The second love of my life is my fiànce, Kyle. He is
the Army and is currently stationed in Savannah. Thats right, I'm a
future Army Wife! We are getting married June 27, 2009 and I can't
wait! After we are married, Kyle will be deploying again and
I will remain in Valdosta until I graduate. If you would like to
know more, I can be reached on MySpace.
my educational career I have come across many interesting
sources. I feel it is important to pass my knowledge on to future
educators and help them along their journey. Hopefully you will
find these sources benifical to you as well. I would highly
recommend The Georgia
Department of Education. This website will give you all the
standards encorperated with Georgia's curriculum and be a guiding light
in designing lesson plans. I would also highly recommend Books-A-Million. This
store has a large selection of children's book and allows you to order
online. I would also strongly recommend starting a small
children's book collection of your own. These books can be
incorperated with your lesson plans and can always be available to you.
