The Summary
I am a leaf is the story of the leaves. It tells
us what the leaves do in each season. In the summer, they make food for
the tree. In winter, they also make food. And then in the fall, the
leaves fall from the tree in the ground. The book tells us how the
leaves work for the tree even when they are not on the tree. When
buried in the ground the leaves become soil. The soil helps the roots
become stonger. It also talks about how different bugs use the leaves.
It also tells us about leaves changing its colors from season to season.
