Student One
Imagine that you are an early explorer traveling down a river and you discover the Atlantic Ocean. When you get there you are so tired from traveling you decide to get a big cup of fresh water to drink. When you pull your cup up to get a drink you realize that it isn't fresh water, it taste a little salty. The rest of the crew realizes that the water taste very salty also. Since you are the captain of the ship and you know all the answers you need to find out why the water in the ocean is salty. Student Two Imagine that you are a fourth grade art teacher. One day you give your art class a painting assignment on the ocean. Everything is going along pretty well until little Johhny raises his hand and asks a very difficult question. "Why is the ocean blue?" You are puzzled by the question and you just tell Johhny that you will get back to him later because you don't know the answer. You need to find out the answer and get back with Johhny and the rest of the class. |
