Hello! My name is Tonyour Alexander, and I am a junior at Valdosta State University. I am currently seeking my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Reading  Education. I transferred to VSU from Georgia Military College. I also, attended classes at South Georgia Regional Consortium  through Abraham Baldwin College. I plan to complete my studies from VSU in December of 2005. My goal is to get a teaching job with the Valdosta City or Lowdnes County School System.

children workingI enjoy working with children, reading, singing, cooking and gardening.  I love working with children of all ages. I love being apart of children's learning experience. I am the Youth President for  my church youth department. I  plan activities and trips for the youth. I have two web sites that I like to browse for information and ideas. These sites are Yahoo and Googles.

I  was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. I have lived here for 29 years and I have no intentions of ever leaving.
I have traveled to Philadelphia, Miami, Hartford, Fort Lauderdale, Alabama, Gainesville and Atlanta. I would like to travel to New York, New Jersey, Hawaii and California.

I like being able to browse through the Valdosta State University Library Sources using the Galileo
website. On this site I can find information on any topic. All types of resources are available such as books, newspapers, magazines, journals, articles and more. I have been able to find  all the information need when doing research papers, presentations and powerpoints. If I am unable to find information about a topic, the staff is very helpful.librarian

The Early Childhood and Reading Education Department has a good website. I can go to this site and find out all the information I need to know when scheduling my classes for the next semester. I can find out where, the time and which building my classes will be held in.  I  can check the prices of my books on the Valdosta State University On-line Book Store.
