I teach in beautiful Northwest Georgia at La Fayette High School, also known as the home of the Ramblers.  Our school is located in the City of La Fayette in Walker County Georgia.

I have taught for two years in special education, and I am dedicated to teaching with the intent that each student becomes a successful person and productive citizen in our society.  I am a graduate of the University of Georgia and traditionally do not miss a Bulldog football game.  I love teaching Sunday school at my church, Peavine Baptist.  I am a wife and mother of two, which is where my heart and interest will always be.

I currently teach students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English/Special Education Inclusion classes.  I have learned that each student I meet has both unique strengths and needs that should be addressed. I have found Intervention Central to be a very useful and noteworthy site for teachers working with children in the are of special education.
