Hello, my name is Stacey Atkinson, and I want to thank you for visiting my web page.  I am a junior at Valdosta State University, and  I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Reading Education.  I received my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2005 from Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, Ga.

I was born and raised in Tifton, Ga. and moved to Adel, Ga. in 1989.  I met my husband, Lee, in April of 1990, and we were married later that same year.  We went to Helen, Ga. and Gatlinburg, Tn. on our honeymoon.  We will celebrate our fifteenth anniversary in November 2005.  We are blessed with three children, two sons and one daughter.  Their names are Caleb, age 13, Sarah, age 9, and Seth, age 7.

We are active members of Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks, Ga.  Our family has been members of Cornerstone since 1995.  Our children are involved in the youth and children's ministries.  My husband is a member of the creative arts department, and we both serve as children's church teachers.  In our leisure time, we enjoy watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball and the NASCAR races on television.  We are all fans of the Braves, but we each have our own favorite NASCAR driver.  Lee, Caleb, and Seth also enjoy deer hunting, and Sarah and I enjoy shopping.

As an education major, I have found that the Lesson Plans Page web site is very helpful when creating lesson plans.  It also has an Education Discussion Forum where you can participate in discussions with other educators on various subjects.
