Hello all, my name is Sabrina Gupton. I was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. I am in my third year at Valdosta State University, and I absolutely love it! I started at a community college and transferred here after my second year of starting college. I am an Early Childhood Education major through the Early Childhood and Special Education Department at VSU.

I love to play softball. I have been playing since I was four years old. During my elementary school and junior high school years I played with the Valdosta Parks and Recreation. My daddy was always my coach. When I got into high school, I was old enough to play in my church softball league. It used to be a dream of mine to play with the Olympic Softball Team USA. But I have decided "church ball" is where my softball career with have to stay.

I am a a big family person. I love my mom and dad very much. I have an older sister, Denah Newton, who is married to the best brother-in-law- ever. My family is a very close knit family. The other peolpe I consider family are my friends, and the people I work for, Adam and Nicole Steel. I am a part time nanny for Adam and Nicole Steel. They are the son and daughter-in-law of Chuck and Susan Steel who are the owners of Steel's Jewelry. Adam and Nicole have three beautiful children whom I love very very much! Gwyneth is the oldest child. She is a very smart five year old and very polite. Shelby is the middle child and a little diva. She has so much personality for a two year old. Bennett is the most recent addition to the family. He is the sweetest baby boy I have ever taken care of. He only cries when he is hungry or tired. I love them all to death. They are my heart. Aside from my big sister and brother-in-law, who are my very best friends, Adam and Nicole are friends who are like my siblings.

Teachers love rules. One resource that is important for every teacher to have is a set of guidelinesl. The Georgia Standards Website is a great website for teachers to use because it helps them ensure that performance standards are being covered in their lessons. Another resource that is important for teachers and parents is the Georgia Department of Education. This website is useful for teachers because it shows test results for their school so they can be aware of how their students are progressing. It is also great for parents because they can look to see how their child's school compares to others in the same area.
