I am doing my
first practicum at Valdosta Community Child Care Center in Valdosta,
Ga.
I am in Ms. Rebecca's Pre-K class. My class is made
up
of ten children. Most of the children are African
American. The children are very excited about learning.
The children really enjoy large group time when they engage in shared
reading. The enjoy all books especially The
Hairy Toe, and Brown
Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?
The children have certain squares that they must sit in during
large group time. Also, during large group time they say
their names using rhythm sticks to sound out the syllables in
their name..
