There once was a little pig named
Lucy.
Lucy didn't have any friends. The other animals in the barn
laughed at her because she likes to roll in mud. Lucy was also on
the heavy side. All the smaller animals would run away, so Lucy
wouldn't sit on them.
One day at the
farm everything was silent. Lucy couldn't find any of the
animals. She heard a cry in the background coming from the
well. Lcuy went over to see what was going on. One of the
chickens got stuck in a hole.
Because of Lucy's size and strength
the other animals decided to tie a string around Lucys' belly and have
her pull Lucky the chicken out. Lucy tried and tried and was
about to give up. All of a sudden a great strength came upon her
and she pulled one more time. Lucy was able to pull Lucky the
chicken out of the hole.
From that day
on, at the farm, Lucy was known as a hero. She had more friends
than she could have ever imagined. All because she helped out a
friend.
