Mission Activity Now that you have explored some pumpkin websites, are you ready to
have some fun? Imagine that you are going on a trip to a pumpkin
patch and you get to choose any pumpkin you want. You have to
think about what makes a good pumpkin (i.e., the size, shape, or
color). Then you will take your pumpkin home and either do
something creative with it, decorate with it, or use it to bake a pie.
Mission Steps 1.) Explore the wonderful
websites above and use the site on growing pumpkins
to find out characteristics of a good pumpkin.
2.) As you are visiting the web sites, begin to think about what you would like to do with your pumpkin. 3.) List some characteristics about what makes a good pumpkin. 4.) Draw a picture of your pumpkin and tell what you are going to do with it. (i.e., make a pumpkin pie or use it to decorate) |
