My name is Pamela Tucker and I am a Junior at Valdosta State University.  I am enrolled in the Interrelated Special Education/
Early Childhood program  on the ABAC campus.  I am looking forward to  becoming a teacher.  I would like to teach Kindergarten or 2nd grade.  Regardless of the grade, I desire to be a teacher that will strive to make a difference in each child that I teach.  I also want to be a positive influence and encourage children to make the best out of their learning experiences.

I am originally from Willacoochee,GA, but I now live on the family farm in the Pearson area with my husband Randy.  We have been blessed with 2 children, Jessica Shea and Jarrett Clay Tucker.  I am a Kindergarten Paraprofessional at Pearson Elementary School and hopefully will be able to obtain a position there upon receiving my degree from  VSU

I enjoy spending time with my family when I am not at work, school, or studying.  We  attend Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where I am a Sunday School teacher.  Two of the most favorite places that we enjoy vacationing are Piegeon Forge, Tennessee and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  A place that I would like to visit with my family is The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

There are so many interesting websites available for teachers, but two that I really enjoy and find very helpful are Jan Brett and dltk-teach.  These two sites would be very helpful with letters, numbers, colors, writing sheets, and making templates and flash cards for teachers to work with in their classroom.
