Lanie is a four year old who has a puppy named Nelson. She loves
to play with him. They play fetch, catch, and hide and
seek. One morning Lanie wakes up to find Nelson missing.
Lanie checks all over the house calling his name. "Nelson,
Nelson, where are you?" She calls and calls him but she can not
find him. Lanie then goes into her backyard calling Nelson's
name. "Nelson, Nelson, where are you?" Lanie begins to get
upset so she tells her mother that she can not find Nelson.
Lanie's mother begins to look around the house with her. Lanie is
so upset, she goes to her room and begins to cry. Nelson starts
to bark from underneath her bed. She jumps off her bed and looks
under it. Nelson greets her by licking her face. Nelson was
playing hide and seek with Lanie and she didn't even know it. She
yells to her mother that she found him. "Mommy, I found
Nelson!" Lanie is so happy, that she gets Nelson's red ball and
they go outside to play fetch together.
