Escape!
Do you know have a fire escape plan?
Let  me share some information about escaping from a  fire.

Topic Mini Research Real World Activity

Pretend that you are a Sprout Jr. Firefighter. Your  job  today as a Jr. Firefighter  will be to give your class a fire safety tip.

The fire safety tip you will give them today is how to check a smoke alarm. If you need help with this fire safety tip then go

to the
Sproutonline Website and click on the smoke alarm video. Firefighter Dana will show you how to check a smoke

alarm to see if it is working. After you look at the video, demonstrate the sound that a working smoke alarm makes, draw

a picture of a smoke alarm and tell why a smoke alarm is important.
Steps to Complete Real  World Activity

Step 1: Go  to the Sproutonline Website  and click on the smoke alarm video. Firefighter Dana will show you how to check a smoke alarm to see if it is working.
