I love to work in my flowerbeds.  Waiting to see the bulbs I've planted pop up out of the earth is exciting because I never know what to expect.  Although I don't have a lot of plants I like helping the ones I do have become beautiful and hardy.  I also like spending time with my family.  My husband Patrick and our two sons, Caleb 7 and Callen 3 enjoy outdoor activities.  Our current project is growing strawberries.  In a few months we should be enjoying those ripe, red berries.  A website that I enjoy visiting to help me with my gard
ening is pallensmith.com.  The Weather Channel gives me up-to-date weather information, this way I know whether or not I have to water the plants.

My husband and I took a cruise to the Bahamas in 1997.  In 2002 our family spent Christmas in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, which was just beautiful. We played in the snow, and for the boys that was very exciting.  In the future I hope to take our sons on a Disney cruise.  I would also like to go to a Dude Ranch.  My family saw a program on the Discovery channel about a Dude Ranch and it made us want to go.
