My name is Nina Cordaro and I am originally from Lawrenceville, Ga. I am a junior at Valdosta State University this year. My major is Early Childhood Education which is a part of the Early Childhood and Special Education Department. I have been in Valdosta for three years and plan to move back to the Atlanta area once I graduate in May 2010 and find a job teaching kindergarten.

Growing up being apart of the church has always played an important role in my life. I attended McKendree United Methodist Church and was heavily involved in my youth group. Dancing has also been a major part of my life. I took classes for 14 years and learned things such as Pointe, tap, jazz, and modern. Since being at college I have had the opportunity to go to Guatemala on 2 mission trips. I was able to teach classes at a school called La Senda and experience school in a new and exciting way. I consider this school a home away from home.
