Scenario
Mission Imagine, you are a dentist at a local dentist office. You have a patient coming in who needs advice about how to keep clean teeth. You get to give this advice to the patient. First, you will need to tell about tooth decay and cleaning techniques. You will describe these two subjects to your patient. In addition, you and your patient will draw a picture to show one healthy tooth and one decayed tooth. The TopicQuest Page has some links you might want to stop at to help with your Healthy Tooth information. The Healthy Teeth website tells how to prevent tooth decay and gives advice on how to keep teeth healthy. Mission Steps 1. Explore with your teacher Healthy Teeth for information to draw pictures of your teeth. 2. Write or describe to your teacher 2 facts about teeth and compare them with facts from one of the websites. 3. Draw your picture and label it to show which tooth is healthy and which one is decayed. 4. Give your tooth drawings to your teacher to scan and publish on the Internet. |
