My name is Mary Jo Evans and I am a Junior at Valdosta
State University. I am currently seeking my Bachelors
in Early Childhood
would like to teach in the Elementary Schools
I love to be around little children. One of my
fourth grade teachers made a huge impact on my education
career. She is the one who made me realize that I would like
to be a teacher. She was an awesome teacher who made the class

I plan to graduate in
the Fall of 2005 but I will continue to go for my Masters Degree.
I chose to come to VSU because they have one of the best education
programs in the state of Georgia.
I was born in
Dothan, Alabama, but raised
in Blakely, Georgia, also known as Early County.
Blakely has a state park located on the outside of town. The name
of the park is Kolomoki
Mounds State Park. It is a neat park that
is an old indian burial ground. While living in Blakely, I
attended the public schools. I graduated from Early County High
School in 2001.
I was what my dad calls "An Honor Graduate." That is, it was an
honor for me to graduate (HA!HA!). During high school, I was
a member of Beta Club and FGE, Future Georgia Educators.

am not in school or at work, I like to hang out with my
friends and go to the movies. I also like to play on the
computer, and play with my cat, Opal. When I am on the computer,
I like to visit different poem pages. My very favorite poem page
