TopicQuest Introduction
Have you ever visited a farm? Can you name some of the animals found a farm? Would you like to know more about the animals on a farm? Well, you have come to the right place! I know some great places to find out more information on farms! Check out some of these great sites to learn all you wanted to know about farms and farm animals.

Barnyard Friends!	1. Have you ever been on a real farm? Take a tour around this farm on the Internet and see the different buildings and animals. There is a worksheet to complete at the end of the tour!
Chickens	2. Did you know that a white chicken is called a Leghorn Chicken? Learn some other interesting fact about these chickens on this website!
Sam’s Farm Site	3. A little boy named Sam loves farm animals and tractors. If you want to learn about cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, horses, dogs, and tractors visit his site. You can also look at some of his great pictures!
Hen House pictures	4. Hen House is an actual farm! If you want to see some real life photos of animals on this farm check out this website!
Sheep	5. Do you want to learn all about sheep – what they look like, what they eat, what an adult sheep is called? If you do, don’t pass up this website!
Goats	6. A female goat is called a nanny. A male goat is called a billy. Learn all about goats on this website!
Cows	7. Did you know that cows can be white, black, brown, or tan? If you are interested in learning some cool facts about cows click on this website!
Pigs	8. A pig can also be called a hog or a swine. Learn more about pigs on this website!
Tina the Tractor Tour	9. Tina the Tractor will take you on a virtual tour of a farm in Kansas. You can learn all you need to know about sheep!
KBears Farm	10. At KBears Interactive Farm, you can click on the animals and buildings of this farm to learn more about them. If you are interested in farm animals, buildings, or equipment, take a look around this farm!
eLibrary	11. Do you want to research more about farms or farm aminals? If so, check out the on-line library, eLibrary. Simply search "farm" or "farm animals"! Have fun searching the web!

Scenario Mission
Let's imagine that you are a farmer on a south Georgia farm. You have a friend from a big city who is coming to stay with you. Your friend wants to know what kinds of animals you have on your farm. However, he is handicapped. His wheelchair can not roll around your farm. So you will need to draw pictures of the different animals on your farm.
Some of the animals your friend is interested in are sheep, chickens, cows, pigs, and goats. He wants to be able to tell his friends in the city about the animals on a south Georgia farm. You will have to draw pictures of these animals for your friend. Be sure to draw a picture of a sheep, chicken, cow, pig, and goat.
