frog Hi, my name is Latisha Rector and welcome to my hub page. I am a junior Early Childhood education major at Valdosta State University. After graduating, I plan to attend grad school and obtain my masters in social work. Eventually,I will return to my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and begin my teaching career.
girl with bookbagI am the baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rector. I have two sisters,Aisha and Nichelle, and two brothers, Derrick and Jaime. Someday, I would love to visit the Grand Bahamas(Freeport), and Italy to enjoy all of the pleasures and fun they have to offer. In my spare time I enjoy working with young children, hanging out with my friends, and playing
basketballbouncing ball.

teaching mathematics I have always wanted to teach young children.By working at a summer camp for the past two years with seven and eight year olds, it helped to make my decision to teach a lot easier.I am really looking forward to having my own classroom and influencing the educational lives of my students.
