Welcome to my personal web page!  My name is Lindsey Wingate, and I am a Junior at Valdosta State University.  I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree from the Early Childhood and Reading Education Department.  As a future educator, I want to receive the best education possible so that I may help each one of my students fulfill their hopes and dreams!

My ability to help others stems from my mother and grandmother.  They are the two most important people in my life.  My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2004.  The cancer has been a huge struggle on her mentally and physically, but her determination to overcome this continues to stay strong. My grandmother has taught me how to fight for what I want and for what I believe in.  My mother, another remarkable woman in my life, has taught me the meaning of unconditional love.  A mother's love never stops, and she has prove that to me time and time again. I am lucky to have two women in my life that share my hopes and dreams while teaching me the importance of loving others.

One of my hopes is to take my mother and grandmother to Europe.  I have seen beautiful lands, and I want them to get a glimpse of heaven just as I have. If anyone deserves to experience life to the fullest it would be these two incredible women!
