bulletHi, my name is Nikki Galli, I am 20 years old and from Grayson, GA. I currently attend Valdosta State University where I am a junior! My major is Early Childhood Education. I have always found that I have a passion for young children. This is why I chose to pursue a career in education. I want to see children learn and develop and I want to be that special someone who helps them succeed in life.

bulletI am also very involved in my sorority, Phi Mu. Phi Mu has really showed me the true bond of sisterhood. I now have 100 new sisters and I love it. Not only is it fun, but it is also rewarding. We complete several community service activities every year and our philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network. I loved the fact that the work I do goes straight to the benefit of children. This sorority has not only given me leadership skills, it also brought me to the girls who will one day be my bridesmaids.

bulletMy friends and family are very important to me. Although I now live in Valdosta, my friends from back home will always be the first and finest. I come very a very loving and close family. My family consists of my mom and dad, Don and Cyndi, as well as two brothers, Donnie and Jesse, and one sister, Cassie. Over time I have also aquired a sister-in-law, Jennifer, and three precious nieces, Julianna, Isabella, and Lilyanna. I value the love and respect that my family has for each other and I would not change it for the world. I have now added a new addition to my family, my new dog Polo. He is a maltese and a big, fluff ball of curiosity. I also have an awesome boyfriend named Mike that I met here in Valdosta. one of my favorite hobbies is cooking. I love attempting new recipes and I find it very rewarding to successfully make a great meal. One of my favorite people to get recipes and ideas from is Rachael Ray.

Over time, I have stumbled across many excellent websites that would be useful to both teachers and parents. My number one favorite is BrainPop. BrainPop is useful to teachers, parents, and students. It can give teachers integrated ideas for the classroom. Parents can use it to encourage their children to continue learning outside the classroom. Students can use the website to have fun playing games while also eriching their education on their own. Another one of my favorite websites, that I find useful for the same tasks, is Kids Know It.
