Little
Red Riding Hood
Author: Charles Perrault
Picture and Story by: Lawana Burke
Little Red Riding Hood's mother sends her out on an errand
one
day. On her way she has to pass through the woods. She is told to
not stop in the woods and to go straight to her grandmother's
house. Little Red Riding Hood gets distracted because she wants
to smell and pick some flowers for her grandmother.
Someone is hiding to
sneak up on Little Red Riding Hood. She does not notice because she is
too busy picking flowers. When she arrives at her grandmother's house
she goes in to see her grandmother. "My what big
eyes you have grandmother!" exclaimed Little Red Riding Hood.
"The better to see you with my dear," replied the wolf. "What big
teeth you have!" "The better to eat you with!" the wolf yelped as he
jumped out of bed to get Little Red Riding Hood. What happens to Little
Red Riding Hood? Read the book and find out.
