Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my classroom web-page! My name is Lacey Hartley. I am from Vidalia, Georgia. I am currently a Special Education Teacher at Appling County Elementary School in Baxley, Georgia. Baxley is located in Appling County, home of the Appling Pirates. It is also where the Plant Hatch Nuclear Plant is located. I am currently attending Valdosta State University where I am obtaining my masters degree in Special Education General Curriculum. I love being and educator and helping my students learn valuable information that will help them in the future.
When I am not working or at school I am usually spending time with my family and friends. I have many hobbies such as walking/running, shopping, and gardening. My favorite hobby of all is shopping. I enjoy not only buy clothes and shoes but, also decor for my new home. Some of my favorite stores that I love to shop at are Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Pier 1 Imports, and T.J.Maxx.
I teach fourth grade as an inclusion teacher at Appling County Elementary School. I teach both math and reading. My co-teachers are both Pam Carter and Lorie Spears. Our great partner and life-saver is our paraprofessional Sandra Upchurch. Each day I rotate with two groups of students while they go to both their math and reading classes in the general education classrooms.
