Hello! My name is Lauren Williams and I am a senior at Valdosta State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I'm currently taking my last undergraduate classes so that I can student teach this coming spring! Since I am training to become a teacher for the state of Georgia, I use the Georgia Performance Standards to plan all my lessons. I also found some tips for student teachers which I will definitely be re-reading before I start my spring semester!

When I am not in class, you can usually find me with my boyfriend Cliff Baker.
Two of our favorite places to eat in town are Loco's Deli and McAllister's Deli. We love to eat a big meal and then look up the movie times to relax after long days of work and school. During the summer, we spend a lot of time at the Suwannee River in Florida. Right now, we depend on our friends for boat rides to explore springs and connecting rivers. Eventually, we'll buy a boat so we can fish and visit the cold springs by ourselves!

Something very exciting happened recently! My best friend's cat Marley just had a litter of five beautiful kittens. Cliff has claimed two brothers as his own, so I will be posting pictures to show their growth! He has named the orange kitten Skeeter and the little runt is Skittles. I can't talk about them without telling you about my own cat, because she would be very upset! Her name is Chloe, and she has a very big ego because I tell her she is pretty every single day. Right now she is a bit jealous of the new kitties, but she'll warm up to them as soon as they want to play with her!
