Scenario Mission:
Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Imagine yourself as a pilgrim.  You, along with all of your family, friends, and neighbors, have worked all year long harvesting food for the upcoming feast.  You have invited everyone you know along with Squanto, your Indian friend.  You call this feast "The First Thanksgiving."  After you "eat" your meal that you have prepared for everyone, I want you to describe and draw a picture of your meal to show your classmates that were not able to attend. Visit this website  on what was served at your Thanksgiving feast to help you describe.  As you describe the foods that were served, draw pictures of the food and anything else that you found interesting at the "First Thanksgiving Dinner."

How to Complete Your Mission:

1. We are going to explore the website about what was served at The First Thanksgiving together to give you some ideas about what to draw. Click on the picture to get there.

2. After you find some ideas about what you served, I want you to draw and describe it so everyone can see what it was like.

3. Make a pretty picture, because when you are done you will share it with your classmates.

4. Give your drawings to your teacher to scan and publish on the Internet.
