Hi! Welcome to my web page! My name is Kristin Rozar and I am twenty-one years old.  I grew up in Douglas, Georgia but I recently moved to Valdosta, Georgia to attend Valdosta State University.  I am currently a junior in the Early Childhood and Special Education Department here at VSU majoring in Early Childhood Education.  I plan to graduate in December of 2009.  I am so excited about the next year and a half that I have in this program and I cannot wait to graduate and start teaching on my own.  I love children and I hope that I am able to make a positive impact on many of their lives during my teaching career.

When I am not busy working on school "stuff", I enjoy shopping, laying out, and spending time with my friends and family.  One of my favorite places to shop is American Eagle.  They have all kinds of clothes from fun summer tops to professional khakis and button up shirts that are great for practicums and student teaching.  My roommate Channing and I also enjoy cooking together and having people over to eat.  It is so much fun to try out new recipes for my friends!  Paula Deen is my favorite chef.  I love to check out her website to learn new recipes.

My favorite place to go on vacation is the beach.  I think it is the most wonderful place on Earth.  I have visited many different beaches in Florida, which include Fernandina, Destin, Panama, and St. Augustine, over the past couple of years.  I went to St. Augustine this summer for the first time in a long time and fell in love with the down town area.  There is so much history in that area, not to mention the restaurants are fantastic!  The Lighthouse is one of my favorite places to visit because it so extraordinary.  I hope that I will be able to go back next summer and explore some more places that we missed this year!
