One dark stormy Saturday night Suzy's parents decided to go out on a date. Suzy was left at home with her babysitter. This wouln't be so terribly bad, but her normal babysitter had plans so Suzy was left with her old, smelly Aunt Lois. After her parents left to go on their date Aunt Lois closed the front door, locked it, and told Suzy to go to her room and do her homework. Suzy whined and complained but her Aunt Lois insisted that she go to her room. Suzy stomped angrily up the stairs to her room and slamed her bedroom door. She was so mad at her Aunt Lois she didn't know what to do. Suzy sat on her bed and tried to think of something that she could do to entertain herself to pass the time until her parents got home from their date. She sat and she sat some more trying to find something to do. All of the sudden, the thunder outside got louder lightening lit up her room. Darkness filled Suzy's room. The lightening had caused the electricity to go out all over the house. Suzy screamed. She frantically looked for her flashlight that was in her bedside table. She found it and clicked it on. Suzy was frightened. Here she was all by herself upstairs in her room with her old Aunt Lois downstairs. She ran down the stairs to see if Aunt Lois was trying to find a flashlight, only to find her old Aunt Lois sound asleep on the couch in the living room. Suzy was furious and frightened. She didn't know what to do. Then, all of the sudden Suzy heard someone at the front door trying to get in the house. The doorknob turned to the left and then slowly turned to the right. Suzy sreamed. The door opened. There in the doorway was Suzy's mother and father. Suzy ran to them and cried. Suzy told her parents to never leave her at home again with her old Aunt Lois while it is storming outside.
