Misson Activity:
Today we are all going to be Indians. We will be dining with the Pilgrims for Thanksgiving. We will use paper plates and different color construction paper to create what you think would be a typical Thanksgiving meal.

Mission Steps:
1) Try this website to find what a typical Thanksgiving meal would be.  Explore the website until you find the information you are looking for.
2) Give students paper plates, scissors, markers, and glue to create a typical Thanksgiving meal. Use the construstion paper to cut out different foods to glue onto the paper plate.
3) Ask the students to tell you what is on their plate so that you can write it down on the plate too.  Be sure that all the food they have is typical of Thanksgiving.
