The Three Billy Goats Gruff is about three smart billy goats who have eaten all of the rich green grass on thier side of the river. The three billy goats began to get hungry.  The three billy goats saw the green sweet peas on the other side of the river.  Their only obstacle is the troll under the bridge.
The baby billy goat is the first to cross the bridge.  The troll grunted, " Who's that tripping over my bridge?"  The baby billy goat told the troll that he was the smallest of the billy goats.  The troll told the baby billy goat that he was going to eat him up.  The baby billy goat told te troll that he was the smallest of the billy goats, and the troll did not want to eat him.  He had a bigger billy goat friend that would soon be coming.  The troll was greedy, so he decided to let the baby billy goat go.
Next, came the medium billy goat.  The troll once again asked, "Who's that tripping over my bridge?"  The billy goat told the troll that he was the medium billy goat.  The troll told the billy goat that he was going to gobble him up.  The billy goat told him that he was too thin.  If the troll wanted to eat someone, that he would definitely want to eat the big billy goat.  The troll let the medium billy goat pass.
Then, the big billy goat started to walk across the bridge.  The bridge could barely support his weight.  The troll asked, "Who's that tripping across my bridge?"  The big billy goat told the troll that he was the big billy goat.  The troll told the billy goat that he was going to eat him up.  The big billy goat told the troll that he had two horns and four hard hooves.  The big billy goat them kicked the troll off of the bridge.  All three billy goats met, and ate on the other side of the river.
