The Windy Day

Emily Grace woke up on Saturday morning and thought that this was just like any other morning.  She stretched he short arms and legs and brushed her fiery, red hair out her face.  She leaped out of her bed and ran downstairs to find her mother cooking a big breakfast.  After breakfast her mother made her a bath so that they could get ready to go to her big brother's baseball game that afternoon.  After Emily Grace got dressed she ran outside to play with her dog, Katie.  When she opened the door to go outside the wind slammed it right back in her face.  She ran to her mom's room and told her about what had happend.  They decided that they would walk outside together.  Emily Grace's mom held her hand tight and they opened the door.  Whoosh!  The door slammed again.  The were not strong enough to hold it open.  Emily Grace's mother decided that this Saturday would be one spent indoors, until the wind let up.  Her brother's baseball game was cancelled until the next weekend and everyone stayed inside and played games with their families all day long!
