If you are considering a study abroad
experience during the summer of 2012, you
have come to the right place!
I have had the honor of teaching in Europe for the University System of Georgia’s European Council six times, from 1997 until 2006.
Then, beginning in 2007, the Langdale College of Business (LCOBA) established its own European study abroad program, first at Zeppelin University
in Bodensee, Germany.
It was my pleasure to
teach in our LCOBA program in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 in Karlsruhe, Germany on the
Rhine River at
Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany. Visit http://goeurope.about.com/od/karlsruhe.
We are going back to our Karlsruhe site in 2012! Space is limited this year to 23 students; meanwhile,
you may reserve a spot by applying now and paying the customary $250
deposit. Contact me at 229-245-2244 or
fware@valdosta.edu. See
www.valdosta.edu/lcoba/studyabroad , where you can download the
Application, the Scholarship Forms and get instructions on how to make the deposit. The cost will be
the same as it was last year and the year before! You will not be able
to beat this price.
Business field trips
are an integral part of the program in Karlsruhe. Scroll down to get a glimpse of students on some previous European field trips.
