Penguine is molting

My name is Felicia Freeman and I attend Valdosta State University. I am in school to recieve my bachelors degree in Early Childhood from the Early Childhood and Special Education Department. I am excited to go through the program for the next two years and learn more about myself and who I will be as a teacher and mentor. My dream has always been to be around children and help improve their lives for the better!

My idea of fun is learning information about penguins and playing in the snow! It is fascinating how penguins can live for such a long time in the cold while huddled in one spot, protecting their eggs, and waiting for their significant other to return. I love to play in the snow and make fresh tracks much like the penguins do. Although, my most favorite part about penguins is how they can go sledding on their bellies! This is fun for my family and I to do too!

I believe that it is important for teachers to be aware of the standards that their students are expected to reach. While reaching these standards it is also important for teachers to incorporate some fun in the classroom! Learning should be a fun experience!
