Mini-Research Real-World Activity

Pretend you are on a picnic in a beautiful forest. You are looking for different types and colors of leaves. Decide which leaves are your favorite. You will receive a blank sheet of paper on which to draw three leaves. Next you will color the leaves using colors found in the fall season and label the type of each leaf.

Steps for Real-World Activity
1) Visit the website on leaves and observe what color leaves turn during fall.

2)
Find your favorite leaves and leaf colors.

3) On your blank sheet of paper draw three of your favorite leaves.

4) Color the leaves in colors found in fall and label the type of each leaf.

5) Turn your leaf activity in to Mrs. Rose.
