What is your favorite food?
Eating the right foods is very important. Knowing what foods to eat and how eating nutritious food is essential for a healthy body. How to eat healthy is something everyone needs to know. Do you know the food groups? Can you name them?




Fruit Group

You should have at least 3-5 servings of fruit everyday. What is your favorite fruit? Is it apples, oranges, grapes or bananas.

Vegetable Group

How many vegetables are you suppose to have everyday? YOU are right, at least 3-5 servings a day! Do you like your vegetables raw or cooked? Lets go to Broccoli Town to find out how important vegetables are to keep our bodies strong and healthy.
Milk/Dairy Group
Dairy
Milk, chesse, and yogurt are a part of this group. You need at least 2-3 serving from this group a day. This group has a number of food full of calcium.
Meat Group
Meat
Chicken, pork chops, steak, hamburgers, fish, shrimp are in this group. You need at least 2-3 serving a day. Some vegetarians eat eggs, nuts and beans from this group.
Grain Group
Bread
Do you like bread, cereal, rice and pasta? These foods are a part of this food group. All of these groups are important for a healthy diet.
Other Group

This group consist of sweets, oils and fats. You should not eat a lot of foods in this group. Candy, pies, fried foods and a lot of junk food are a part of this group.
