Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?, is one of my favorite books. It is written by Bill Martin and illustrated by Eric Carle. This book is colorful and full of fun. It helps teach the concept of color and animal identification.
The story starts off with the reader asking Brown Bear what does he see. The Brown Bear says to the reader that he sees a red bird looking at him.The reader asks the red bird what does she see. The red bird says she sees a yellow duck looking at her. The story continues on in this manner.
The yellow duck sees a blue horse. The blue horse sees a green frog. The green frog sees a purple cat. The purple cat sees a white dog. The white dogs sees a black sheep. The black sheep sees a goldfish. The gold fish sees a mother. The mother sees beautiful children. Then at the end, the children are asked what do they see and they say they see all the animals including the mother looking at them.
