b. Add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers with common denominators.(Denominators should not exceed twelve)

c. Convert and use mixed numbers and improper fractions interchangeably.

PLO: Students will be able to understand fractions so that they are able to: add and subtract fractions, identify equivalent fractions, and convert mixed numbers and improper fractions interchangeably.
