Rumpelstiltskin is a
story about deciding what is important to us. A young lady tells a lie
to try and help her family.
After she tells that she can spin straw into gold the greedy King wants her to do it. Rumpelstiltskin tells her that he can do it for her.
After the King finds that she can do it, he tells her that if she spins a whole room of straw into gold he will marry her. Rumpelstiltskin tells the young lady that he will do it and not tell about her lie if she gives him her first baby.
Tell me another way the lady could have helped her family without needing to tell a lie?
