I love this book. It provides the reader with an exciting tale of a dog that is at first rejected by the family. Then he saves the smallest child, Arliss', life. He is then beloved by the family, especially the oldest son, Travis. It is a heartwarming story of a dog and his friendship and loyalty to a family in need.
