Topic Mini-Research Real World Activity
You are going to  pretend you are on a boat ride.  As you travel around the earth's waterways, you are going to find out how different animals swim.  You will keep a journal to record the different animals you see swimming and make notes on how they swim.


Steps to Complete Real World Activity
1.  Go to the exzooberance website.
2.  Look at the list of animals.
3.  Choose 2 animal names and write a different name on each sheet in your journal.
4.  Click on the first animal name you chose.
5.  Look at the pictures and text of the animal.  Find out how the animal swims and write it down on it's page.
6.  Click the back button.
7.  Click on the second animal name you chose.
8.  Look at the pictures and text of the animal.  Find out how the animal swims and write it down on it's page.
9.  Draw a picture of the animal on it's page and label the part it uses to swim.
