Pick a Flower in Candice's Garden

designed  by Candice Veal

Welcome!  My name is Candice Veal and I am currently a Junior at Valdosta State University.  At this moment I am taking the steps to receive my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.  I am a transfer student from Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, GA.

I was born in Augusta, GA and I have lived in Washington County all of my life.  I graduated from Washington County High School in 2001.  I went to Brewton Parker College the first two years of college and then I transferred to Valdosta State University.  I have really enjoyed the little bit of time I have spent living in Valdosta.  When I am not at school, I am working on the weekends at Wild Adventures.   At Wild Adventures, I help run the games all over the park.  I mainly run the go-cart track that they have for the visitors.

I would like to tell you a little bit about my family and how great they are to me.  There are five people in my family including me.  I have a great mother and father that are happily married.  I also have a younger sister and brother.  My mother,Terrie, works in the school system in Washington County.  She is currently the Technology Specialist for D.D Crawford and Tennille Elementary.  My father, Chris, is a Lab Technician at Burgess Pigment Company, one of the many chalk plants in Washington County.  My sister, Mandy, is senior at Washington County High School and is involved in the Fine Arts Program in the school.  My brother, Bryan, is adopted and is 15yrs. old.  My family is great and love each one of them.  Even though we live three and a  half hours apart.

Also, in my free time I love to go to church and attend the Campus Outreach meetings on campus.  This is a wonderful ministry, and the Lord has blessed me with many wonderful friends through this ministry.
