"The Beach" written in the sand

My name is Christina L. Cook.
I am from Henry County which is right outside of the city (Atlanta, GA). Union Grove High School is where I graduated from in 2006. I was President of the Partners Club, played flute in both the main band and for the marching band. Now I am Junior at Valdosta State University majoring in Special Education/ Early Childhood in the Early Childhood and Special Eduction Department. My favorite things in life are God, family (I miss them so much), friends, teaching, music, and the beach!

Also I am currently working at Hobby Lobby which has turned out to be a great source for ideas to create exciting lessons and for getting materials for all my projects. A couple of projects I have picked up since I started my job at Hobby Lobby are knitting scarfs and scrapbooking all my experiences and adventures. Lately I seem to be spending a lot of my free time in Atlanta and there's two reasons for that... one, that's where my parents and my little sister live, and two, my boyfriend just started taking classes at Georgia Tech. He is studying Biomolecular and Chemical engineering.  The rest of my "free time" is spent on a couple of positions I hold on campus, as Secretary for the Council for Exceptional Children, and also Team Captain for CEC and IRA's (International Reading Association) Relay for Life team.

One resource that has been useful for me as I continue my education is TeacherTube, another is Youtube. Recently I found a great website by Sue LeBeau that is very organized and useful for teachers. Some other websites that are also useful are
Education World, Teacher net, and Best Websites for Teachers.
