Lightfoot's imagination takes her to all kinds of interesting places.
She wishes for nicer life for her family. She flies high in the sky.
She flies over her family on tar beach, over the bridge, and
over her town. As Cassie flies she dreams of her father being rich and getting a respectable job. She wants him to be able to own the Union Building. Cassie also wants her mother to be able to sleep late in the morning, like her neighbors. Cassie Lightfoot imagins what her life would be like if her dreams came true.She would eat ice cream every day if she was allowed.She would also go flying around everywhere, and to avoid getting in trouble she would bring her little brother.
