 Students can learn the beginning and ending sounds of some of the letters in the alphabet.

Learning to read is a very important part of life.  Learning the beginning sounds of words is one of the first steps in the reading process. Today you are going to pretend you are teaching your first grade class the beginning sound of your choice.

Mission Steps

1.) Go to the beginning sounds website and practice with fun activites about      beginning sounds.

2.) Choose the letter you want to teach your class for today and draw 3   
      pictures of things that begin with that letter.

3.) Label each picture so your students will know what each picture is.
