Shoot for the Stars
Designed by Charles Hill

My name is Chuck Hill and I am a junior majoring in Special Education at Valdosta State University in the Early Childhood Special Education Department.  I was born and raised in Lyons, Georgia.  I enjoy spending time with my family.  I am really excited about the career I have chosen and look forward to everything ahead.  I am still unsure about what grade I want to teach, but I am learning more and more throughout my practicum experience.

When I have some free time, I enjoy playing basketball.  Basketball is my favorite sport and I have loved it ever since I was very young.  It has provided me with many interesting opportunities in life.  I have had the opportunity to play in many famous college arenas as well as in front of many legendary coaches.  I also had the opportunity to play college basketball at Middle Georgia College for two years.  When I am back in my hometown, I really enjoy spending time with my baby nephew.  He is fun to play with and he is very special to me.

There are many different resources for teachers to use when trying to find ways to teach a lesson.  A good website for teachers to visit is edHelper.  This website provides a lot of information for teachers to use when planning a lesson.  Another good website to visit is the Learning Network.  This website also provides plenty of information for teachers to use when teaching a lesson.  Both of these websites have plenty of sources for teachers to use as well as terrific ideas to use in the classroom.
