I teach at Tift County High
Our mission at the TCHS Mathematics Department
is to provide our students with higher understanding of
mathematics, problem solving and real world applications.
the county seat
of Tift County.
TCHS is the only high school for the entire county.
The city of Tifton was named twice as one
the best 100 towns in America.
It is home to the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, a
branch of the University
and a branch of Moultrie Technical College.
Tift County covers about 265 square miles and has a population of about
about 40% of whom live in the city of Tifton.
my life. I am rated as a
semi-professional pool player. About three years ago, a woman approached me and asked
me to teach her to be better a poolplayer. I married her a year later.
My wife and I play doubles competitively on an amateur level. Two
times, we have won the Atlanta Doubles Championships and
other local and regional tournaments. We have made it to the
money rounds each time in Las Vegas.

I teach Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Math I, and
sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Although our curriculum is mandated by the state,
I like to make my classes fun, but here is the website that isn't
that much fun.
