was placed in Morven
Georgia at North
Brooks Elementary
School for my field experience. I am in Pre Kindergarten with Mrs.
Harris, her husband is the Mayor of Morven Georgia.
Mrs.
Harris'
paraprofessional is Mrs. Mills. Mrs. Harris' class contains
about twenty students. This is one experience that I walked into
and loved on the first day. The students are very
energetic four year olds and Mrs. Harris is a very loving and energetic
person as
well.

Mrs. Harris' class contains a variety of students. There is not one minority in this classroom. It is good to have a variety of students so that every student can learn about the different cultures in their classroom. On the second day I went to the class, the students made their faces on a skin toned cutout of their head. The students learned that everyone is different in their classroom and in the world. The students were taught to be friends with everyone that they meet. Therefore, the students welcome every person that walks through the halls or into their classroom with a hug.
